Big happy birthday

I made this sweet little card for my daughter. She absolutely loves elephants. This adorable ((BIG)) stamp is from Whipper Snapper. It is colored in with Copics. I love the richness of the colors, but I definitely need some practice with these! Things have been slowing down just a bit for me so hopefully I will get more of a chance to stamp today and tomorrow. Have a great weekend and hopefully no one gets more snow! We have record late snow this year. I have NEVER seen snow this late in the year here in the NW. It is not sticking by any means, but it's still snow!! I hear Hawaii calling my name! I need some sunshine! Enjoy!!
The recipe:
  • SU Pixie Pink and the old Marvelous Magenta, W White CS
  • Bazzill turquoise CS
  • Cuttlebug dies
  • Photo corner punch
  • Piercing tools
  • Whipper Snapper Elephant Birthday stamp
  • Paper Trey's Faux Ribbon set
  • May arts ribbon, and unknown irridescent cord

Something different...

This is something totally different for me. I have had a Cricut for a while now and I have not used it much. The Cricut cartridges have been on sale at Michael's this week and I bought a few of them. We have a birthday party to go to for my twin niece and nephew this afternoon and this is what I came up with. They are really cute. The only thing I do not like about these is they are very time consuming. But they are fun to put together! The color on the Mickey card is Brilliant Blue, although it doesn't look like it. All of the paper is Stampin Up except for the turquoise blue and the pink for the base of the Minnie card, which is Bazzill. The cartridges I used are Mickey and Friends, and ZooBalloo.

Double pocket cards

AHHH! I finally have some time to post something!! I just spent the last 48 hours trying to find my camera... there's nothing more irritating than trying to find something someone else hid! Things have been going so fast for me lately. I hardly have time to do anything!!! Here's a couple of double pocket cards that I came up with. The teal one is made from Heidi Grace papers and rub-ons. The peach one is made with Paper Trey's On a Limb set, and Chatterbox cardstock.
