I like your style

This is a fun card I made with the I Like Your Style set from Stampin Up! I painted twinkling H2O's on the background paper and on the image.

Items Used:
*I Like Your Style--Stampin Up!
*Confetti CS--Paper Zone
*Lavender Lace and Almost Amethyst CS
*SU eyelets
*deckle scissors
*unknown fibers
*Circle Punch
*Twinkling H2O's
*Lovely Lilac, Basic Black SU! Inks

{Altered Notebooks}

I made this altered notebook for myself. A while back I promised myself that I would have a "craft journal". Now I can jot down my ideas when I don't have enough time to put them down on paper! This was very simple to do. This particular one I used Pioneer tape to mount the papers to the book. I very much prefer to use Mod Podge for applying paper to altered items.

Items used for this project:
*Target notebook
*Assorted SU and other ribbon
*spiral "S" clip
*Lasting Impressions brads
*Doodlebug patterned paper
*SU Night of Navy CS
*Cuttlebug embossing folder
*Basic Grey and Making Memories Chipboard
*Making memories acrylic paint (Blue Reef)
*Lasting Impressions buttons

Howdy Cowboy!

A friend of mine came over tonight with an undecorated can, some country-looking papers and some EK success dimensional stickers. This is what we came up with!! Some of the SU! items include Cranberry Crisp, and Buckaroo Blue CS. CC ribbon, SU retired Yeehaw set, Linen bkgd, SU antique brads, hemp twine, raffia, walnut ink, SU markers, mod podge and crafting foil. We used the silver foil for the horseshoes and the sherriff badge. We stamped the images with black Stazon and cut them out. Sheila loved the can! She is using it to give away with cookies to her Valentine. We both had alot of fun putting it together!

Many Thanks...

It felt good to sit down and stamp today! I feel guilty stamping while I'm in college. But this quarter I have decided to quit feeling guilty and just get it out of my system.... Here are two cards I made today. I was trying to use up my background paper and came up with these. Supplies used: SU! Brocade Blue CS, peach Bazzill CS, Scrapbook Walls patterned paper, Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet die set, Cuttlebug embossing folder, K & C Company chipboard, SU ribbon and SU ticket punch, and MM rub-ons and brads.

Second Wiper Card...

I made a major foo-pah on the first Wiper Card! After I made it I realized that the size was half-card size... not 4.5 inches! Soooo, I'll have to find a 6 x 6 envy to put it in. *SIGH* Anyway, I made another using the same supplies with a little different layout. Don't forget to go to JanTink's website to get the instructions! Instead of taking a picture, I scanned this one. So it is laying completely flat...

Birthday Delight

Ahhhh!!! I finally had time to stamp!! I asked JanTink for her Wiper Card directions a few days ago.. And today she posted the directions for the Wiper Card on her website. Well, since I had some time today, I played around with this fun little card and came up with this!

Products used are: SU! Vintage Violet, Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery papers and ink. Stampin Up sets include Delight in Life, Paisley bkgd, It's Your Birthday, and All Around Argyle. I also used Ellison Impressions with my Big Shot, Prismacolor pencils with Gamsol, LI brads, MM trims, and the FAB new ribbons that Michael's sells. These yummy ribbons come on a spool and are fairly new. Love them!!! I'm hoping to be able to stamp more today so check back soon!!

More older but blog worthy cards...

The moose (Inky Antics) card is actually a tall 8.5 x 4 size card. The scan came up very small. The indian card was made with the old SU! Dream Catcher set. The paper was marbled with chalks.

Older but Blog worthy!

Ok, I thought I would post a few cards I have made in the past. I really have to dig into studying for the next few days... I'll be back after Monday when I'm done taking my test! Enjoy!

Friends are like flowers and more...

Have you ever had a creative burst and ended up somewhere different than when you started? I fully intended on using some of the new SAB sets today and ended up making these!! The two top cards use MM rub-ons, papers, ribbons, and flower eyelets. They also use Bazzill and SU papers, SU inks and SU NON, and celery paper. ON THE BOTTOM: These cards both use Cuttlebug embossing templates and Cuttlebug 2 x 2 flower die. Stampin Up! sets used are Tiny Talk, and Friends Are Like Flowers. SU papers include: Buckaroo Blue, Certainly Celery, Chocolate chip, Vanilla, and Positively Pink. The ribbons are a combo of Making Memories, SU, and some awesome striped ribbon from Mike's. The inks used are: Choc Chip, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Buckaroo Blue. These cards also include Sizzix tab dies, MM brads and rub-ons, LI Brads and a distressing tool. Enjoy!

Refrigerator Listers

I love making these little guys... They are super easy to make. Some of the supplies included here are SU papers, LI papers, LI Brads, SU inks, SU ribbon, Inky Antics stamps, SU stamps (Best of Cluck, Canvas Bkgd), and LI brass templates. They are covered on the back with cardstock, which wraps around to the front. Strip magnets are applied to the top and the bottom of the backside.

Like It A Latte...

After being extremely sick with this nasty virus going around, I finally had a chance to stamp! I love this set! The colors are Chocolate Chip, Buckaroo Blue, Vanilla and Certainly Celery papers and ink. The ribbon was a great find in the Michael's $1 bin. Also used on this card are the Word Window punch, LI brads, Cuttlebug embossing template and the white gel pen.
