Give Thanks

It's been a while since I've been able to stamp! I actually painted this a while ago and just didn't put it together on a card. I used SU watercolor crayons with the Autumn Harvest set. And I used regular watercolor paper with an aqua painter. The only thing on this that was a bit tedious was the masking. I thought it turned out pretty! On the corners I used antique copper brads and mounted everything to the card using SU dimensionals.

Here's the recipe:

  • SU Chocolate Chip CS and ink
  • Natural Confetti CS, Watercolor paper, Pumpkin Bazzill CS
  • SU Watercolor Crayons
  • Aqua Painter
  • MM Antique Copper Brads
  • Corner punch
  • SU Linen
  • Cuttlebug dies
  • Stampin Up dimensionals
We are really starting to feel the effects of Fall outside. Usually, here in the NW, we get foggy mornings by early October. And we are just now starting to have them. The trees here are turning such beautiful colors! My daughter and I went down to the lake yesterday and took some really pretty pictures of the leaves on the trees and the lake. It was perfect....and unseasonably warm! At least in my opinion!

Your card is beautiful, and so are your pictures. LOVE the squirrel! You have inspired me to get out next weekend and take my dog down to the lake and get some pictures!

I've been a lurker on your site for some time now and thought I'd post to say thanks for your inspiration.

Love the pictures. We feed the squirrels that live in the mature trees around the old house that is my work site.

Have a nice day.

I absolutely LOVE your card. I can see where you are getting your inspiration from. I have been enjoying the beautiful fall colors this past week. Forecast is rain, so it is not quite as nice.

I also love the card with watercolor, so effective with the simple line drawn sketches of pumpkins! It is wonderful when it is cold and dry enough in the N.W. to have fall colors! We don't have color in the Low Country yet it has been dryer and cooler this week so maybe soon:)
