Look at this cake!! This is so cool!! These women just do an awesome job on these...
Life has been crazy here! Since I have been off of work I have been in the which-way-do-I-go funk. There are so many things that need to be done it's hard to find a place to start. I did take a little time out for crafting... This card was really easy to make. I used glossy white CS and sponged it with the following SU inks: M Mustard, C Caramel, M Moss, C Celery, S Saffron, R Rust. The flowers were stamped using Chocolate ink. Other items used include: SU Chocolate and Caramel CS, Brown Bazzill CS, Coppermine Fabric Fancies Prima flowers, Nestabilities tags, and brown gingham ribbon.

Supplies:

It seems like forever since I have been able to post something! This during this time of year my head is really full of so many ideas its hard to find a place to start. I bought this stamp set from Cat's Pajamas. I love the rocket! And rockets just scream glitter! The phrase was one I found in Studio G stamps at Michaels. I wish the print on it was bigger.

Here's my take on Frankie boy for Halloween. He has a shag doo! These are fun to make. I wrapped a box of Gobstoppers with Wild Wasabi. I thought he turned out kinda cute! Funny thing..... the gobstoppers are coming out of the side of his head... like he is losing his marbles!! LOL

Supplies: SU DP (porcelain prints), Bayou Blue and W White CS, Bayou Blue, C Celery, Cocoa inks, Martha Stewart punch, Paper Trey's Flower Garden set, Technique Tuesday's borders, Tab punch, SU ribbons, and red tacky tape.
I decided to put some of my work in as exhibits in the Clark County Fair this year. I could only enter 6 items. So, I put 4 of my paper crafts and 2 of my quilts. These are cards and crafts that I have posted on this blog in the past. I will be posting my quilts on my other blog Lovin My Quilts soon. Anyhow, I won 4 blue ribbons! It stinks that they don't award rosettes for paper crafts at this fair. It may be because it is just a paper craft (??). I don't know, but I think it deserves more respect than that. There were many different displays of cards and SB pages. They just weren't as touted as highly as the other crafts. Photography was huge! The quilts were awesome. I love to look at the display of quilts. My mom and aunt are both entering quilts in the Oregon State Fair this year. Can't wait to see what ribbons they got! I Wish I lived in Oregon so I could enter! WA State Fair is just too far away for me to drop everything and go enter. Maybe another time!

I love the new stamps from CC Designs. I can't wait to get my hands on the new sets for this month! This little bear is from their set Sweat Treats. I used prismacolor pencils on this one. Also used is a ribbon slide from Nestabilities

Tangii gave me this special award!!! Tangii you are so sweet! Thank you! I really don't feel like I deserve this because I haven't blogged in so long... But, I'm hoping I'll be able to start blogging more.
I just bought these fab sets from CC Designs. The monkey is from It's My Birthday set. I love these monkies!! I had to throw together a quick card for my great-nephew's 2nd birthday. He is so stinkin' cute and such a monkey! I thought the card was perfect for him. If I would have had more time I would have added more. The star came from Jody Morrow's sticky sale stars.
