Here are a few altered notebooks I made . Papers are by DCWV and KI memories. The stickers are by KI memories. I used Misc and SU ribbon. Stamps by SU! I'm not much of a sticker fan, but I decided to venture out to use them. The notebook with the snap on the front was painted with matching colors. I wish my scanner worked!! I think the picturers would look so much better scanned.

More Christmas Cards!
I had fun making the Santa card with punches and coluzzle. The snowflake cards are made with NQN paper and cool caribbean paper. The patterned paper is made by American Crafts as well as the ribbon. Rub-ons by Making Memories. Metal embellishments are Senti-metals by Lasting Impressions. Snowflake rub-ons are made by MAMBI (*I think*)...

Did a little crafting today...
In the midst of organizing and reorganizing (STILL!) I was able to sit down and do some crafting. On the blue card, I used the cuttlebug swirl embossing folder on Cool Caribbean cardstock. The Gable Green slide has a cute little rub-on made by colorbok. The brads are a color that is very difficult to find!! These are called Robin's Egg by DCWV. The slides are diecuts from sizzix.. The second card was a quick money card for a birthday party that my son went to. I used Bravo Burgandy by SU and patterned paper by Rob and Bob Studio Christmas pack with coordinating die cuts. The notches on this were made by using the Basic Grey Notch cutter. All of this tied with pink grosgrain. The tag on the front has a MM rub-on.

2006 quilt
I didn't do much this year in the way of quilting. I have been in Nursing school and have been going all year long. So in my extremely small amount of spare time I managed to quilt out 2 quilts--both the same. One was for my niece and her baby. And the other was for a friend and her baby. It was very convenient because this particular pattern is a one-way pattern. Because I wanted the pinwheels to go one way only, cutting the pieces left the reverse pattern available to use on the second one. I didn't take pictures of the second one (in reverse pattern), and wish I would have. My mom recently bought an embroidery machine and we embroidered the baby's name along the side of the quilt in big letters. It turned out so cute!! The pictures here are of the one for my friend. I didn't have time to embroider a name on that one. I managed to get both quilt tops done in one week and the quilting done over a weekend. I'm hoping that when I'm done with school I will be able to do more.
Some Christmas Crafts
Reorganizing Day!
Today I am reorganizing all my scrapping and stamping supplies. Over Christmas I have found that I have so many things here and there that I couldn't make sense of it all! So today I am spending the day reorganizing. College starts back up in a week and I really need to get 'er done! I only have 2 more quarters of Nursing School to finish my RN degree--YAY! Every quarter gets a little harder and a little more tedious so I wanted to get ahead on my cleaning/reorganizing before I start back up. This way if I want to craft while I'm in school, I can do it more quickly and efficiently than I have been able to in the last 2 years. I found that because I cannot craft, I end up fulfilling my creative desires by purchasing! BAD, BAD, BAD!! This, in turn, has added to my ongoing organized mess of craft supplies--YIKES! Ok, I'm off to start reorganizing!! Happy Holidays!

First Blog
This is my first blog ever. Seems like everyone has a blog, so I guess I'm taking the leap too! :) I chose Craftaholics Anonymous because I love my crafts. I have a love for stamping/scrapbooking/paper crafts and quilting/fabric.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a fantastic New Year!
